The 8th East Asian Joint Symposium on Plasma and Electrostatic Technologies Environment Applications (EAPETEA-8) was held in Xi'an from October 18-20. More than 180 scholars from China, Japan, Korea, Australia, UK, Pakistan and other countries participated in the conference using a combination of online and offline methods. The symposium was held by Xi’an Jiaotong University. Prof. Dingxin Liu was the chair of the symposium. 

The Symposium set up 8 academic themes, including plasma biomedicine, plasma catalysis, plasma material processing, advanced electrostatic technology, etc. More than 120 papers were received from home and abroad.
